Visa Requirements

Most visitors require a visa to enter Ghana. We recommend applying at your nearest Ghana Mission at least 4 weeks before travel. E-visa options are becoming available for certain nationalities.

*ECOWAS citizens are visa-exempt.

Health & Safety

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Ghana. We also recommend standard travel vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis.
